To the New Brighton Community Gardens.  Our Community Garden has been running since 2005.

The Gardens provides a community environment based around sustainable gardening. We are a working model of community conservation, sustainability and recycling with rainwater harvesting, composting, worm farming an integral part of what we do.  Instead of having individual plots volunteers here contribute their time in the garden in exchange for fresh veggies and seedling.

We are located in the reserve and the garden’s car park is first left as you go through the gates of Rawhiti Domain. Opening hours are 10am to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and also Saturday 10am -2pm.
